Bella and her puppies

 



Bella is our family dog and she is a Jack Russell cross Maltese breed . Bella had puppies last night Her puppies are like Bella but are also a Lowchen Schnauzer cross because the father of the puppies is that breed. Bella's dad was a full Jack Russel terrier. He was our first dog that me and my sister had. Did you know that a pregnant dog will carry for at least 63 days and then they will give birth? 

Bella has 5 pups in the photo you could only see 4 because 1 is hiding behind her I think or under the other puppies. the pups were born on December the 20th. the first puppy was born at 12:51 pm (at night) and the second puppy was born at 1:18 in the morning, 3rd one was at 1:41 in the morning, 4th puppy was born at 1:54 (in the morning). And the last pup was born at 2:16 IN THE MORNING.at the end we were all happy and then went to bed waiting to see them in a few hours when we wake up it was still gonna be the same day because it was already pasted midnight.

    Wow, how cute are Bella and her pups?! I actually didn't know that dogs carried for only 63 days! That is much faster than humans - thank you for teaching me something new.

    That must have been a really exciting night! How are the puppies doing now?
