Introduction

 

Jumper

 Jumper is a movie about people who could jump or teleport anywhere. For example they could teleport into a vault in a bank and steal money. But there were some people who are trying to kill all the jumpers because they think that they are the cause of something evil.

When David Rice was in high school he just found out about his jumping or teleporting powers. One day when David was at school a bully threw his gift for this girl that he liked called Millie onto a frozen lake. David went to go get it but then something happened. David fell through the ice right into the freezing cold water. He was drowning, but then he teleported to a library.

The next day David was trying to control his power. He looked at a rock in the distance and really focused.  Then he teleported over to the rock. Once he had control, the first thing he did was teleport inside a bank vault to steal lots and lots of money. A few years later he became really rich and was good at teleporting wherever he wanted to go. 

One day, David found Millie working at a bar. Then he told her that he was going to Rome and Millie wanted to go as well, So they packed their bags and went.

David used his powers to go inside the off limits area to open the door and let Millie in from the outside.They both went to the middle of the Colosseum.That’s when David found another jumper named Griffin.The other jumper Griffin was telling David that there were people trying to kill other jumpers and it had been going on for ages.

Both Millie and David were trying to get inside a door. Millie was inside while David went around the other side on the outside. But then David and Griffin were attacked by hunters who hunted jumpers. So David got attacked and got stuck in this electric wire trap that couldn’t let him teleport. Then Griffin killed the hunters and did all the work to escape. The hunters couldn't shoot him with an electrical wire because he was too fast.

Both David and Griffin wanted to end the leader of the jumper hunters. His name was Rolland.They went to the headquarters and brought a bomb with them. David’s friend Millie was trapped in the headquarters so before they blew  up the building he had to rescue her. David teleported in and rescued her and teleported straight out. 

After that David and Griffin jumped/teleported right in the middle of the headquarters, placed the bomb and teleported away. They both took one look at the place and said “it's the end.” They pressed the detonate button and “booooooom!” The whole place blew up and then the three of them lived their lives happily ever after.

 How do digital technologies shape people’s lives?

How do digital technologies shape people’s lives? It shapes people’s lives  because people are constantly using digital technology everyday. Studies say that 5.13 billion people have phones, that’s almost the whole world.

People are always using their cell phones, laptops and other devices everyday to do work or to stay connected. 40% of people in the world has access to the internet.

Digital technologies have changed peoples lives because it has changed the way they learn, work, and get information. 

In the old days there was no internet, Google, Gmail, YouTube or Facebook. People used to use old phones, watch less channels on TV and read the newspaper. The world wide web (www) was made available to the public on the 6th of August 1991.

People use digital technology too much. We don’t know what will happen if humans are taken over by digital technology.

In conclusion, digital technologies  shapes people's lives because they are using a lot it everyday.
